A little bit about me...
I founded Samantha May Floristry here in Essex in 2012, when I achieved a distinction in City & Guilds Advanced National Certificate in Floristry from ARU Writtle College. During my course, I worked at the renowned Claridges Hotel in Mayfair London.
Having qualified, I then had the incredible opportunity to work for McQueens in London, based onsite at Claridges Hotel and offsite with the Events Team. During my time there I worked with clients such as Mulberry, Vogue, Dior, Christian Louboutin and the Canadian Embassy to name but a few!
By working in both Essex & London, alongside some of the most incredible creative florists in the UK, means I am always up to date with the latest trends and styles happening within the floral industry.
I bring to my own individual style and design of flowers and have a wealth of experience working in many venues across Essex and London. These include 5* Hotels, Lavish Ballrooms, Castles, Barns, Stately Homes, Marquees and small intimate venues.
In addition, I've freelanced for some of the top florists in the UK and abroad - Amie Bone Flower, Neill Strain, Wild at Heart and Enchanted by Syma.
I am hugely proud to be the preferred supplier of the breathtakingly stunning High House Wedding Venue in Althorne, Essex.
